Each service learning event engages volunteers in community impact with a Detroit-area organization while educating them on the realities of hunger and homelessness in our community. |
03.06.10 | DSG Shares @ Cass Community Social Services (CCSS) | 10 a.m. - noon.
CCSS is dedicated to making a profound difference in the diverse populations it serves by providing for basic needs including affordable housing, promoting self reliance and encouraging community inclusion and improvement.
DSG Shares will be meeting in CCSS's Scott Building which is located at 11850 Woodrow Wilson in Detroit. Volunteers will be assisting with sandwich preparation for the men, women and children who use CCSS's services. Volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome.

Please note: we are always looking for volunteers to take pictures at our events! If you are a photographer (or just have a digital camera and wouldn't mind snapping a few shots at CCSS), please feel free to bring it along!
