Tour de Troit 2005 and Detroit Bikes!
The 4th Annual Tour de Troit is set for September 24, 2005. The ride takes off at 10:00 a.m. from Roosevelt Park. When the ride is complete, there will be entertainment, food, and drink in the shadow of Michigan Central Station!
The Tour de Troit 2005 will be approximantely 35 miles, and will proceed at a leisurely pace of 10-12 mph. The ride is accompanied by the Detroit Police Department to ensure safety at major intersections.
The Tour de Troit raises money for the on-going maintenance of the Corktown-Mexicantown Greenlink and works to promote biking in the City of Detroit.
The Tour de Troit is fully-supported by a SAG vehicle. Pre-registration is available
at www.corktowndetroit.org!
