Detroit Bikes! All-Star Ride 07.09.2005
July 9, 2005: Detroit Bikes! -- Get geared with Detroit Bikes! The All-Star Game is fast approaching and Detroit Bikes! welcomes all to get connected to the energy of Detroit. In an informational tour to showcase the “motor city” via bike, Detroit Bikes! will pass by and visit key districts and destinations in around the primary downtown center of the city. Some places of interest include: Eastern Market, the Michigan Theatre, Brush Park, Ferry Street, the Cultural Center, New Center, Corktown, and of course, our evolving downtown districts Detroit Bikes! is a project of Detroit Synergy Group. The ride starts at 10:00 am. Meet at the Millennium Bell in Grand Circus Park.

OUR RIDE IS FREE! … including a souvenir bandana, but we strongly suggest a donation to support Detroit Bikes! And Back Alley Bikes, two non-profit groups aimed at promoting cycling in the city. Helmets are required, and please familiarize yourself with our liability policy.
Helmets will be available for rent at a minimal donation along with a limited number of bikes. Please see our flyer for rental donations.
