Do you know of a company, organization, store, bar, restaurant, or coffee house that would like to sell and/or purchase our calendar?
If you have knowledge of someone who you think would be interested in helping us sell the calendar, then we want to know! And if you think your place of business might be interested in purchasing calendars in quantities (they would make great gifts for clients!) then also let us know!
We will also need volunteers to deliver calendars to those businesses that have agreed to sell them for us.
For more information on how to help us get the word out, please contact Maxine at calendar@detroitsynergy.org
How and Why
This project began as a question: Why is Detroit worth it? It culminated in an exciting photo exhibit that showcased over 120 images showing all of us exactly why. The beauty and variety of these photos show Detroit to be a city that rewards exploration and loyalty rather than judgments based on reputation or initial impressions. They ranged from stunning shots of local landmarks to intimate images that show personal connections to the city. We wanted to share a few of these with you—and the calendar project team was born.
Perhaps among the photos you’ll glimpse aspects of the city you never knew existed, or you’ll see familiar features with new appreciation. We hope that these photos will generate conversation about Detroit’s virtue and inspire a new desire to discover more about the city.

Thank you, thank you very much!
For all those original photographers who submitted images, thank you for showing us why you think Detroit is worth it.
