Marketing Co-Chair
Marketing is a team effort! This position includes working with our current Marketing Co-Chair, James Canning to promote Detroit Synergy and its events. Connecting events to media and connecting people to Synergy events for successful attendance. As a steering team member in this position, marketing chairs mentor the project teams and educate the teams on how to promote their events. Community Coordinator
The Community Coordinator is our connection to Detroit's great festivals. The Community Coordinator is responsible for getting Detroit Synergy and its members to festivals by booking booths to provide information to the community or finding a street team to pass out information and promote upcoming Synergy events. The Community Coordinator works closely with the Membership team to encourage the community to come to Synergy events and meetings and sign-up for the Detroit Synergy List Serve. This position also includes getting members to volunteer to work the booth. If you love getting to Detroit's festivals, pumping up volunteers and promotions, then you are right for this position! Finance Chair
If you have a knack for budgets, tax returns, and financial statements, this is the right position for you! The finance chair is responisible for keeping Detroit Synergy on financial track, reviewing budgets and evaluating the organization's finances. The Finance Chair also serves as a mentor to project groups providing guidance on how to create a budget and implement it. If you like number crunching, please apply!
