Sweet Lorraine's is a restaurant that almost defies labeling. Dubbed "world beat" food by its owners, the menu borrows from ethnic cuisine around the world. Lorraine Platman is adventurous and creative in devising new dishes and the food is as exquisite as it is unique. Sweet Lorraine's officially arrived in downtown Detroit just over a year ago but began 25 years ago with Sweet Lorraine's Deli in Madison Heights. The decor of the downtown location is eclectic with curvaceous walls, colorful light fixtures and funk salt and pepper shakers giving a hip and artsy feel.
Arrive early to enjoy a glass from their award winning wine list. The price of this event is $18 and includes your meal with one glass of wine, tax and gratuity. Supper Club menu's are fixed with no substitutions. Any additional items will be billed upon consumption on your own tab.
