Anniversary Pub Crawl
9 Bars + 200 Friends = Loads of Fun.
What better to celebrate Detroit Synergy's 5th (or Wooden) anniversary than with a couple hundred of your closest friends at 9 different bars in downtown Detroit?
Date: Saturday, September 15
Time: Registration starts at 4:30 p.m. in the Hard Rock Cafe (45 Monroe St. in downtown Detroit). The crawl moves on to the next bar at 6 p.m.
Location: 9 different bars, with drink specials at each of them.
- Arcade Bar ($2.25 domestic bottles)
- Centaur (martini special & appetizers)
- Foran’s ($3/pint Michigan-made beers)
- Hard Rock Cafe (drink special & free parking)
- Pit Stop (shot special)
- Pulse ($3 drafts)

- The Well ($4 Long Islands)
All this for only $15 in advance or $20 at the door! This includes free parking in the Compuware parking structure at Monroe and Farmer Streets, courtesy of the Hard Rock Café, as well as a free t-shirt for the first 200 people to register. All proceeds go to support the charitable programs of Detroit Synergy.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Southeastern Michigan Red Cross has issued an urgent appeal for blood donors and DSG is answering the call! Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are encouraged. Please email Dan at the address below with the time you would like to donate. Our goal is 35 donors

Illuminate Detroit: Midtown
Shine a light on new development projects in Detroit and you get a party called "Illuminate". The historic building of the Willys Overland Lofts has been under renovation and is ready for our sneak peak. This is a great opportunity to discover midtown living!

Dequinder Cut Hike
By popular demand, we will be hiking the Dequindre Cut again. Walking boots and long pants are recommended on this tour of great graffiti along the old train track east of downtown.

Bus to Work Campaign: A Transit Project
We're working this September and October to help strengthen mass transit in metro Detroit. Is there a bus stop near where you work? Sign-up to post an educational flier at your workplace that describes the local routes and the personal cost savings. Bus to the Movies: A Transit Project
Join Detroit Synergy as we bus to The Simpsons Movie at the Magic Bag. The 450 SMART Bus to this View & Brew event leaves downtown at 7:30PM. Please plan to be there 10 minutes in advance. Hands Along Woodward
The Final count is in! Thanks to your help and the assistance of more than 50 drop off locations on Woodward, Hands Along Woodward brought in 6,415 lbs. of food for Gleaners Community Food Bank, including a cash donation of $500!

Recycle Detroit Needs Volunteers
Recycle Detroit is teaming up with Michelin and Men's Health Magazine on Saturday, September 15th in Cass Park from 9am-2pm for a clean up and to build fitness-scapes with Michelin Tires.
Cass Park is used by the local community as a fitness track and the sponsors wanted to add some features to promote health and wellness in the city of Detroit. They are looking for dedicated strong souls to help with this great event!

Drive Detroit : Discovering the D
Buckle up for Drive Detroit: Discovering the D - A Fundraiser for Alternatives for Girls - a city wide scavenger hunt by car! This event will begin at noon on Sunday September 16th with lunch in Mexicantown. Thirty teams will compete, solving unique clues at various Detroit locations. At the end of the hunt, enjoy entertainment and dinner at Traffic Jams and Snug.
To get started, create a team of 3-5 members and register at www.firstgiving.com/afg. Each team needs to raise a minimum of $300 for AFG (easily done, once you register). If you have questions, please email drivedetroit@gmail.com. Get ready for the ride of your life!
Creative Energy Alliance UNITE
On September 18th, the Creative Energy Alliance (CEA) goes public at their first social networking event for the entire creative community. They believe in "Unconditional Networking", breaking down any barriers between industries and inspiring more people with diverse skills and interests to gather and explore new ways to work together.
Come mix and mingle with many of our most talented and passionate people from the arts, music, film, video, animation, theater, photography, advertising and other creative industries. Let your creative energies flow!

Detroit Fashion Week 2007
DSG & Detroit Fashion Week 2007 invite you to experience the exquisite creations of Michigan's most creative designers and one of Metro Detroits hottest after-parties on Friday, September 28th.
Detroit Synergy was selected as the non-profit to be supported by Detroit Fashion Week and will receive 10% of the night's net proceeds. Come celebrate at the St. Regis Hotel in Detroit's New Center area, have a great time and support DSG and DFW!
