TONIGHT - Shop Detroit Needs You!!
Shop Detroit—the official kick off to Detroit's Holiday Shopping season—is happening on Saturday, December 1st, 2007! And to make this event a success, we need your help to spread the word!! So, come on down, drink some hot chocolate and have some fun while promoting independent shopping in Detroit!
What: Detroit Tree Lighting in Campus Martius
When: This FRIDAY, November 16th | 6pm to 9pm
Where: Meet in the Compuware Atrium to pick up flyers
Why? To pass out flyers promoting Shop Detroit in the Campus Martius area

Late Night at the DIA with DSG
Join DSG at the DIA’s “Art After Hours” re-opening celebration. Be the first to see the DIA when it opens its doors to the public on Friday the 23rd for 32 hours. Free admission, DJ, cash bar, access to newly redesigned museum.

Bus to Work Campaign: A Transit Project
We're working this November to help strengthen mass transit in metro Detroit. Is there a bus stop near where you work? Sign-up to post an educational flier at your workplace that describes the local routes and the personal cost savings. Its easy - to get started, just go to www.detroitsynergy.org/projects/transit and we'll produce a customized flier for you to post.

Shop Detroit: 4th Annual Holiday Event
Believe
it or not, the Shop Detroit is fast
approaching! Want to help out? Volunteers are still needed for a
variety of tasks:
- Distribute stacks of postcards to workplaces, coffee houses, student unions, etc.
- Help deliver posters to merchants
- Stuff shopping bags before the event
- Work the registration table on the day of the event....
