Connections | DSG Update for July 16th
This Thursday Third Thursday: Community Connect at La Dolce Vita
Third Thursdays are a great opportunity to connect with members of the Detroit Synergy community. Whether you are new to the organization, or well-traveled on the Synergy circuit, you will feel welcome at this community networking event.
Our community partner this month is the Salvation Army. We'll be collecting clothing that can be resold in the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Please consider checking out your closets and bringing a few gently used items to share. Together, DSG Community Connect participants continue to have an impact on the greater community. Community Callout: Detroit Office Open House @ 211 West Fort*

Community Callout: Gleaners Food Fight to Tackle Hunger*
Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan is in the midst of a food fight with local businesses to tackle childhood hunger. The goal of this two week food drive, which ends on July 25th, is to collect enough food and funds to feed three meals to 500 children every day for a month! Children often go without food during the summer because they don't have access to the free or reduced lunch that they do when school is in session. In the five county area, almost a half million children utilized the free summer lunch program last year. No matter what size, every business is welcome to participate! Companies can go online to www.gcfb.org for more info or to register.
*Please note that Detroit Synergy does not have any direct involvement with these events.
