Dequindre Cut Hike
A fine sunny Sunday made for a great hike along the Dequindre Cut. Project lead, Chris Lesnies, started the tour with an intro in the Fuddruckers parking lot and then the group trouped to the entrance of the cut. Many photos were taken as Chris described the graffitti sites along the way. Click here to see more photos or, if you took some and would like to share them, you can post to the DSG Flickr site at www.flickr.com/groups/detroitsynergy
Left: Chris starts us off Right: Detroit Graffiti 101
Left: Getting in close for a photo Middle: Marching through graffiti arches Right: We reach Eastern Market and wrap up. To end or go back through? That was the question.
Here's a Google Maps link of the walk. For more info about the hike, or to conduct your own exploration of interesting and little-known places in the "D" contact development@detroitsynergy.org or come to the general meeting next Thursday.
