Sign Up To Be Our 5000th

Hands Along Woodward
Detroit Synergy together with the Woodward Avenue Action Association (WA3) and other Detroit area organizations celebrated the 200th Birthday of Woodward Avenue by creating a human chain at one time to symbolize unity in our community. Detroit Synergy was an anchor organization as the first links in the chain, gathering hands at the mouth of Woodward at Hart Plaza. Synergy participants sang, "This is what unity looks like" and "Happy Birthday to Woodward" as they held hands, as seen in the Free Press video http://tinyurl.com/34myz6 and Detroit News article with cover photo of Detroit Synergy participants http://tinyurl.com/2e5sfm
Detroit Synergy at the foot of Woodward; afterward, at Sweet Lorraines.
Note: We still have Gleaners food collection bags, which will be at the next general meeting and Third Thursday. Please consider bringing a canned food item for this worthy cause.
