The holidays are just about upon us, the new year is right around the corner...and Detroit Synergy has a calendar full of events. There is a little bit of something for everyone!!!

2008 is here! But 2007 will not soon be forgotten...it was a big year for Detroit Synergy being our 5th Anniversary year. Our email list now reaches over 5,000 Metro Detroiters (and beyond!) We had a lot of our signature events take place in 2007, like Detroit Bikes!, Discussing Differences, Run Belle Isle, Project Clean, and Shop Detroit to name a few; as well as the return of some old favorites, Supper Club and Illuminate. We also had many new new events, like the Habitat for Humanity Work Day, Hands Along Woodward and Urban Hiking in the Dequindre Cut. It was a full year for us, and we don't expect 2008 to be any different!! We hope that you will join us sometime in the new year, as a participant and/or a volunteer...there is definitely something for everyone! Read on, and you will find out what's going on over the next month...Happy New Year!

Spring is FINALLY here! And many Synergy projects are about to go into full swing. April is full of events to get you out-doors and out-an-about in the city of Detroit. From bike rides and runs to restaurants and pubs and everything in between, there is definitely something for everyone...just take a look!!

This Saturday! You can walk it or bike it...

Detroit Synergy is participating in two big events this Saturday...the first is MRDI's Walk2Gether event on Belle Isle in the moring. The second is Detroit Bikes! partnership with Bike Detroit Now Artists Loop in the afternoon. There is no excuse to not take advantage of the beautiful spring weather in the D. You can walk it or you can bike it...either way, we're sure you'll like it!

Cinco de Mayo tour and a Bike to Work day along Michigan Ave., to our Pub Crawl fundraiser in Corktown and Project Clean event with the Motor City Makeover at Roosevelt Park in front of the MCS. We make it easy for you to forget about the I-75 detour...come tour the 'D' - southwest style - with Detroit Synergy!
