Explore Detroit | With a Friend in Detroit | Insider's Tour
The Opportunity | A New Perspective.
Join Detroit Synergy projects "Friend in Detroit" and "Explore Detroit" in participating in the first insiders orientation to Detroit. Experience the attractions that are uniquely Detroit. The shopping. The dining. The history. The nightlife. The culture. And experience all in a free tour to occur this Friday, January 27 at 7 pm.
Orientation Itinerary.
The group will meet around 6 pm at Coaches Corner (1465 Centre St, Harmonie Park District, Downtown Detroit) for a quick dinner. Dinner costs are to be provided by the participant. Tours will depart, in groups of 20, from Coaches Corner at 7 pm. Each tour group will have guides provided by Inside Detroit.org and Detroit Synergy.
The route will take participants through Harmonie Park's dining and entertainment venues; past Randolph's garment district; up Monroe to Detroit's new heart, Campus Martius; through the historic Art Deco Office District, with breakouts in the historic Guardian, Penobscot and Buhl Building lobbies; up Woodward's burgeoning loft district and back down Broadway.
